Every machine has a voice.
Boson is how you hear it.
Boson is Cognecto's field intelligence layer. It connects to any device—telematics, GPS, sensors, MQTT, TCP—normalizing raw telemetry into structured, verified field events. Real-time proof, zero manual logs.
Not a tracker.
A verification engine.
Most IoT platforms just collect data. Boson understands what it means.
When a roller compacts a road, Boson doesn't just track GPS. It counts passes per chainage, validates compaction sequence, and flags issues like missed passes or idle time before mistakes become costly.
Using physics-based AI, models are trained on compaction mechanics, structural load, and equipment lifecycle, reflecting the actual physics of the work being monitored.
From raw signal
to verified intelligence. In seconds.
Six things Boson
does out of the box.
Built for
5,000 feeds per minute.
Built for production.
Boson is a high-throughput, multi-tenant ingestion and normalization engine purpose-built for the scale and demands of industrial infrastructure monitoring.
If your equipment has a signal,
Boson speaks its language.
Boson supports most standard telematics OEMs and protocols out of the box. Custom device codec creation takes under 5 business days.
Boson, deployed.
Real sites. Verified outputs.
"We needed one platform that could track every truck, every shift, across a mixed fleet from multiple manufacturers. Boson normalised them all — TATA units, 808GPS trackers, and our own custom TCP devices — into one dashboard. Fuel accountability went to 99.5%."
The data layer that
no one else has built.
Four structural advantages built through years of R&D across civil engineering, physics, and machine learning.
Models trained on how infrastructure actually works.
Boson is trained on compaction physics, pipeline dynamics, and equipment fatigue, rather than generic datasets. It flags deviations based on physical anomalies, not just arbitrary thresholds.
Your devices never wait. Your data never drops.
Processes asynchronously with sub-200ms ingestion responses. Even at 5,000+ feeds per minute under peak multi-site load, Boson loses zero packets. Built for production scale from day one.
20+ OEMs. One schema. No custom integrations.
Use your existing devices regardless of OEM or protocol. Avoid hardware vendor lock-in and save on integration fees when expanding or changing your fleet.
Every event is structured, timestamped, and retrievable.
Every event is normalized, validated, timestamped, and bound to a verified device identity and workgroup. Boson delivers structured, audit-ready evidence, not raw dumps.
Boson hears.
Photon sees.
Cortex decides.
Boson is the foundation layer. On its own, it provides advanced IoT intelligence. Connected to Photon and Cortex, it completes a unified AI operating system for infrastructure.

Boson Listener is Cognecto's edge IoT hardware platform that captures real-time telemetry from heavy infrastructure equipment. It measures vibration, GPS position, engine parameters, and environmental conditions, streaming data to the cloud for AI analysis.
Boson Listener integrates accelerometers for vibration and compaction monitoring, GPS modules for location tracking, fuel flow sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, and CAN bus interfaces for engine telemetry on heavy equipment.
Boson Listener is a ruggedized, IP67-rated device designed for harsh industrial environments. It is magnetically mounted or bolted onto compaction rollers, dump trucks, excavators, and other heavy equipment. Installation takes under 30 minutes per unit.
Boson Listener transmits vibration amplitude, frequency, GPS coordinates, speed, fuel consumption rate, engine RPM, and operating hours. Data is streamed in real time via 4G/LTE or stored locally and synced via WiFi at the site office.
